More than 1600 kids got access to clean water as a result of the Walk for Water in 2010.

More than 1 billion people, 1 in 8, struggle to find and drink clean water every single day. The global water crisis is here. The annual Walk for Water  supports water well construction in East Africa and benefits the local nonprofit Portland Global Initiatives as they work with US AID and Water for All as international aid partners.

The Walk for Water date has been set for 2012. This year we are incorporating a run into the festivities. Please mark your calendars for SATURDAY, MARCH 24TH!

Donations are accepted year-round to support the walk and water-related issues.
